I know that no SEQUEL or ViewPoint jobs can be running when I upgrade. How do I make sure no one is using the product?

There are three ways you can check for SEQUEL and ViewPoint jobs on the System i:

  1. Issue the command ASCSUPPORT/WAQZ for a list of ViewPoint jobs. This list also includes other Client Access/QZRCSRVS jobs.
  2. Run the script SEQUEL/SQUSERS for a complete list of SEQUEL and SEQUEL ViewPoint jobs on the system.
  3. Start ViewPoint Administrator and run the Active Sequel Users option. [This is the same as running the SQUSERS script.]
