How would I use ESEND to burst a spooled file? I want to distribute the pages based on e-mail addresses in the heading of the report.
First, use the ESEND Report Rules command (ERPTRULES) to create a rule set that defines how the spooled file should be burst (see example, below) Make a note of the rule set name so you can enter it as the RULESET parameter on the ESEND Distribution (EDISTRIB) command. Use EDISTRIB to process the spooled file and distribute the parts to the various e-mail addresses.

This example shows how you could set up an ESEND rule to look for the e-mail address on each page of your report (enter the appropriate line number and the position on the line).
