User Access

SEQUEL is designed for all levels of users—executives and other non-technical users just click a desktop icon to display, e-mail, or download SEQUEL results from the System i. For complete flexibility, SEQUEL offers a number of ways to access information.

Run-Time Prompts

Run-time prompts let users select different subsets of data. For example, a business executive could click a desktop icon and use run-time prompts to select different date ranges or regions for a SEQUEL sales analysis table.

Dashboards

Dashboards can contain SEQUEL objects, Windows applications, browser windows, graphics, and text. The result—management and other users have all the metrics they need right at their fingertips.

The ViewPoint Explorer

The ViewPoint Explorer displays a list of SEQUEL objects on the System i and gives users easy point-and-click access to the full range of SEQUEL functions.
